ABOUT VILLA VOLPAIA

CONTEXT

The villa is located in Buti, on Monte Pisano.

The position and the altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, guarantee a mild and pleasant climate all year round.

This beautiful area of Tuscany is surrounded by hills cultivated with olive trees and vineyards near green pine forests.

Buti is also a convenient starting point to visit the most important Tuscan cities of art: Pisa and Lucca (20 Km), Volterra (50 Km), Florence and San Gimignano (60 Km), Siena (180 Km). Even the sea is easily accessible: Marina di Pisa (40 Km), Versilia and  Forte dei Marm (70 Km), Cinque Terre and Porto Venere (120 Km).

Just 1.5 km away from Villa Volpaia there is the pretty center of the village, reachable via a scenic road through the olive groves (the last part is dirt). Here you will find various shops including baker, grocery store, newsagent and tobacconist, many bars and restaurants, pizzerias, post office and bank, hairdresser.

INTERIOR

The building , 350 square meters, is an old farmhouse of the seventeenth and eighteenth century. We partially restored with special attention to the original materials (brick, wood, stone ...) and furnished with antique Tuscan.

The ground floor consists of a beautiful entrance, a large kitchen (oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine), two large living rooms and a dining room in each of which there is an old fireplace. From the ground floor you go out onto the large terrace partially covered by a wine pergola. A staircase leads to the first floor where you enter a large living room with three large windows which offers an incredible view of the valley and the city. The living room leads to the bedrooms: two bedrooms with double beds, one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a small bathroom with toilet and shower. On this floor there is a large bathroom with tub and toilet.

OUTSIDE

In front of the villa there is the terrace with table, chairs and barbecue. From here you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views. Outside there is a private swimming pool (11m x 3m) and solarium inserted surrounded by olive trees. Near the terrace there is a barbecue and a beautiful old oven which in ancient times was used to make bread. From the pool and from the terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding hills and on the village of Buti.
