ABOUT VILLA PERGOLA

CONTEXT

The villa is located in Buti, on Monte Pisano.

The position and the altitude of about 300 meters above sea level, guarantee a mild and pleasant climate all year round.

This beautiful area of Tuscany is surrounded by hills cultivated with olive trees and vineyards near green pine forests.

Buti is also a convenient starting point to visit the most important Tuscan cities of art: Pisa and Lucca (20 Km), Volterra (50 Km), Florence and San Gimignano (60 Km), Siena (180 Km). Even the sea is easily accessible: Marina di Pisa (40 Km), Versilia and Forte dei Marm (70 Km), Cinque Terre and Porto Venere (120 Km).

Just 1.5 km away from Villa Volpaia there is the pretty center of the village, reachable via a scenic road through the olive groves (the last part is dirt). Here you will find various shops including baker, grocery store, newsagent and tobacconist, many bars and restaurants, pizzerias, post office and bank, hairdresser.

INTERIOR

The building is an old farmhouse that has been restored using original materials (brick, wood, stone) and furnished with antique furniture in the tradition of the region.

On the ground floor there is the kitchen, dining room with fireplace, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with toilet, a room with a single bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed and a small terrace, a bathroom with bathtub. The house also has another small terrace where you can sunbathe.

OUTSIDE

The property includes a 10x4 meter private swimming pool, a solarium with deck chairs and umbrella. In the garden there is also a hot tub. At the front of the house is a large  terrace covered with a wine pergolafrom which you can enjoy a really magic view of the surrounding hills and on the village of Buti.  The terrace is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor dining. Near the terrace there is a barbecue and a beautiful old oven which in ancient times was used to make bread.
